The plan of action

The rain is pouring down outside and it bothers me less today. I did tons of planning today for next week. Next week is going to be an exciting week when the Olympics start. No time to feel sad today about the weather.

The plan of action is to enjoy the pre-Olympics activities and then the Olympics. Actually, I can’t wait. The closer we get the more excited I become.

I may be seeing the torch relay twice. Once on the road and once on the river Thames. Only today I found out that there will be a river relay from Kingston to Westminster on July 27th in the morning. Isn’t that cool? Check it out if you live close to the river!

Also, the Proms are on and I have never been. I am trying to squeeze a visit in, too.

And the new Batman movie is out.

So who has time to worry about the weather…

Here is an artistic photo-shopped image of the Olympic Stadium taken at the end of April. The sky hasn’t really changed. I hope they finished the work in the Olympic Park though. 😉

  1. Must be SO exciting to be in London right now!

  2. I am really excited too – the one time in my life I wished I lived in London! I will be watching everything I can on the television though! I hope you have a great time!

    • Thanks. Check out the sailing events. They are down by the coast. I have a ticket for an event in Weymouth & Portland. That should be a little closer. Maybe you should check on the sailing schedule. 🙂

  3. I’m so looking forward to reading your posts about the Olympics!!
