A little bit of self-pity

I promise, it’s only  little bit…

Somewhere on my travels back from Las Vegas to London I caught a cold or something. So instead of running 12 miles this morning, I am finding myself on the coach with a huge box of tissues watching QVC. (I don’t know why QVC, I didn’t have the energy to change channels.)

My nose is running 12 miles though, that counts for something, right? 😉

I decided I am allowed to wallow in self-pity for another 2 hours. But that’s it! Self-pity makes me cranky. So later on you’ll find me (still on the coach) catching up with your posts of the past days and sorting through my 973 photos from my last trip. For all the great things about digital cameras, I can tell you that taking gazillion photos and then having to sift through them, is not one of the positive side effects of going digital… No, actually, I enjoy that, too.

I have a smart TV, I am just noticing. As I am sitting here typing it switched itself off. Didn’t like QVC either…

Before I ramble on, I hope y’all have some fun posts for me to read and cheer me up!  😉

Happy Saturday!

  1. Get well soon and resist the temptation to buy something from QVC!

  2. Poor you! There are a lot of colds around at the moment – touch wood I have managed to avoid them so far! I hope you feel better soon and find something a bit more exciting to watch on the tv!

  3. I hope you feel better soon! My biggest fear of all (with all the flying I do) is catching a cold in that closed up, recycled air, tin can! xoxo
