In our busy lives, we often forget to be grateful for the life we have. We are busy. We have deadlines to meet, people to impress, projects to stir back on course.

But please take a moment each day.

Stop. Breathe. Feel gratitude.

Surround yourself with friends and family who have a positive attitude. Support each other. Give each other confidence that you all can lead a successful live – however each of you defines success. And be aware that success means something different to each of us. So be open.

More than half of the world’s population lives on less than $2.50 a day. Could you live on this amount? If you are unhappy with your job, create an action plan on how to find a more fulfilling role.

Laugh. Laugh loud and often. Laugh about yourself.

Be grateful towards others. Thank the person who hands you your coffee in the morning. Give praise to a child, a colleague or a friend each day.

Be grateful that you have the opportunity to change your life if you so wish; or that it remains as is if that’s what you want.

Stop.

Breathe.

Be grateful.
