A fall weekend in the park

Now this past weekend didn’t quite turn out to be the weekend that I planned. But then that’s probably true for most weekends…

When I last checked the weather forecast, it showed cold but blue sky, perfect for days out to take some amazing fall photos. The blue sky hardly ever showed, but persistent as I am, I went out anyways and did get to catch some great fall colors in Hampton Court Gardens and Richmond Park.

It was great being out with my camera rather than running in the park and catch some of those great colors. But maybe now you know why this is a great area to run in, too. 🙂

  1. Oh, how I miss the fall colors. The Southwest is not conducive to the change of seasons. Thank you for sharing.

  2. These photos are just beautiful!

  3. Autumn is my favourite season and your photographs remind me why I love it so much 🙂

  4. Great colours. Wonderful photos.

  5. I used to run in Richmond Park, off the beaten track. It was so wonderful to be running through the ferns and suddenly realise that there is a deer sitting right beside the path. They stay so still you would normally never notice them!

  6. Absolutely beautiful, leaves me speechless how great Autumn can be. I never enjoyed Autumn as much as this year. You are lucky to live so close to Richmond Park. 🙂
