100 Day Challenge – Day 5

Day 5 of the 100 Day Challenge and I still haven’t run. Oops. πŸ™‚ Here is what I have done over the last 2 days:

100day-challengeDay 4 – 30 minutes of walking

Day 5 – 30 minutes of walking to the shops + core workout

I finally returned home to my apartment in London today, so I should be able to get back into a regular workout and running routine. With my upcoming move to California I haven’t signed up for any spring races yet, so I’ll just have to get myself fit right now – beach fit as I like to call it. LOL. I should check out the parkruns now. This is probably a great time for me to join one of them or try out a few locations.

Oops again – I just did the “mistake” of checking out the half marathon schedule in California for 2013. No excuses to not start running right away. There are 4-5 half marathons every weekend. Crazy! Or really a runner’s heaven. I guess that’s settled then. Back on the running trail tomorrow. πŸ™‚

  1. It’s tough sometimes to do what we know we should, when we don’t feel like it…at least you are walking, better than nothing! You will get there I’ve sure…

  2. Good for you! I don’t like running but have been hitting the gym and hiking.

    • I am a runner, but have had nearly a 2-months break and am having a tough time getting back into it. πŸ™‚

      • I’ve found it’s difficult to come back from a break from anything, even things you love. At least you have done “something” and you know what you want to accomplish…not just daydreaming.

      • That is right. πŸ™‚ The miserable weather hasn’t helped much, but my plan for next week is not to use weather as an excuse anymore. Happy rain running!

      • Yes, happy running, rain or no rain…as my skating coach would say “NO excuses!”
I’m looking forward to reading about your progress πŸ™‚
