Buttprints or footprints…

Today was my last day at work. I went to the office to hand in my work laptop. I spent some time on the phone saying good-bye to people. I spent time on email sharing my contact details.

footprints not buttprintsIt’s a kind of weird feeling now. Not lost, just a little weird.

I worked for 5.5 years for this company, 3 years in Texas and 2.5 years in London. That is quite a bit of time and I will miss some of the amazing people I worked with. I am going to allow myself a couple days of ‘retrospecting’ before I am going to focus all my attention on my new adventures ahead. I read this beautiful quote today and I just know this has been the right decision and right move:

“You can’t make footprints in the sands of time if you’re sitting on your butt. And who wants to make buttprints in the sands of time?”      ~ Bob Moawad

Starting a new chapter… 🙂
