Running is back!
Yesterday was my first track training with my new Team in Training team. Loved it on so many different levels. I met so many great people living near my new home. I don’t think I can get the names straight at the next training, but I’ll get there eventually. 🙂 This was my first team work-out since I broke my foot, my first track work-out, and my first slightly faster run. My foot held up! Yes!
One of the team members broke her foot a few years ago and she told me that her foot still talks to her when the weather changes. Oh my. Another team member happened to be a Pilates instructor and a doctor who made sure I did my planks correctly (ouch!) and also urged me to ice the foot when I got home. I did as told. And the foot is not hurting today either.
A day of rest for my foot today. It deserved rest. Very happy!
