Give yourself permission to take care of yourself. It’s straight forward, if you can’t take care of yourself, how will you be able to take care of others?
We are often brought up with a mindset of a good person is someone who puts others before themselves. In my mind there is a fundamental flaw with this idea. How can you take care of your family, your partner, your work, if you are not taking care of yourself?

  1. Yes, well said! Self care is so important-it doesn’t mean selfishness or a lack of regard for others…it will only make you more capable to be there for other people!
